I am soon starting my a-levels (after the summer) and i will be needing a laptop.
As i have said my budget is about £500, if possible i would love for it to have mobile technology, wireless internet. And then all the basics like min of 256mb ram, 40 gig hard drive etc. It should be quite light and small, but not tiny.
What should i get?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks in advance

I have just finished my first year at university and i purchased an acer laptop from www.laptopsdirect.co.uk before i went. i have used it several times a day throughout the year and i am really happy with it. it was really reasonably priced - about £350 i think. the site is really good, has a really good range and next day delivery!! - definately worth a look!! -

Check out the Think4.com site. There are two models under the £400 both of which come with built in Wifi and DVDRW burners. I don't believe you'll find a comparable brand new better specification laptop for less in the UK.
