My brother and his Mrs went to Minehead on 16th Oct half board! They were amongst the greedy pigs taking advantage of cheap holiday! Well, why not!
Centre Parcs sounds a bit more upmarket then is it? Do they do catering there or is it all self catering? I really really dislike cooking anyway, but on holiday?! Ugh! I can go anywhere as long as there's a decent Cafe, Restaurant or Take-Away nearby. Otherwise Self Catering is a big no no!!!!
Can cook won't cook!!!

They have several restaurants, but I don't know if any do breakfast. The typical Center Parc customer would probably be up at dawn for some muesli.

Oh right! Before they go out on a nature ramble type thing?! No good wearing me high heels there then?!
There's nothing like a good old greasy fry up in the morning. I suppose I could manage that!
What do they do evenings?

Just been reading through the reviews here, bit of a mixed bag! A couple of them say security is not good, cars and villas broken into and valuables nicked. Well if we go, I will be vigilant! Bust my car and I'll bust their.........! Seriously though, is there a safe available do you or anyone know?!
What really appeals is it being next to the Safari Park, was intending to visit again next year, seems perfect.

Hadn't heard of security problems.
Foodwise there's Indian, Italian, American and traditional food. Take your pick, you ain't gonna starve girl!
I stayed at the Sandy Bay Haven site near Exmouth last year. Burger & chips, Fish & chips, Chicken & chips. Not a vegetable in sight. A yard of fizzy pop for the kids and then they were all hyper. A bloke said that they get hoards of Brummies there who love it. They get bladdered all week and let the kids go wild. Nice area, but I don't fancy that site again. Much preferred the farmhouse we had near Bovey Tracy. Nice and quiet.

There some funny people what come from Exmouth (huh hummm)! Did you go into Exmouth while you were there? The beach is gorgeous but the town at night is a pub crawlers paradise. Loads of pubs, 3 clubs equals loads of people falling around town drunk!
Shame really cos it used to be a lovely place for families years ago.
Got out of hand after I moved out!
Wouldn't like to live there now!
I think most people who holiday in Sandy Bay seem to stay on the camp or travel around during the day. I used to walk there from Exmouth as a kid, along the cliffs. I would never fancy staying there though to be honest!
Anyway, I have requested a brochure and DVD on this here Centre Parcs. Will look into it.
You have been very helpful Major Darky Sir.
Thanks!
Hope you are enjoying your wine now!

Centre parcs charged me £55 to take my dog for 5 days. He was not allowed to take part in any activities. Saying that, it would of cost about £60 to put him in the kennels for 5 days so i saved a fiver.

We looked at the brochure and DVD. It looks very boring except if you eat muesli and ride a bike.
Booked at Park Resorts instead.
