    I got my ghd straighteners from http://www.salonlines.co.uk and they weren't too expensive. Fair enough there are cheaper straighteners out there but I have always found they product poorer results.

    Visit the http://www.salonlines.co.uk/ghd-hair-straighteners/ - They are £99.95 with a free silk results shampoo and conditioner or brush and mat - this is a great offer! I got mine with the free shampoo and conditioner worth about £18.

    I did a little research on the price of GHDs on the 'net:
    * www.salonlines.co.uk - £99.95 with free shampoo and conditioner worth (£18.95) - without £98.95
    * www.lookfantastic.co.uk -£119.00 (Non-members) & £99.99 (Members)
    * www.ukhairdressers.co.uk - couldn't find ghd hair straighteners
    * www.jasonshankey.co.uk - £102.95 with a free heat mat - without £98.99
    * www.amazon.co.uk - £102.00

    I find using a leave in conditioner every so often helps keep the frizz away as well.

    P.s Mummyu, do you work for o3 ozone because if you don't have you ever thought of approaching them and becoming a writer for them, cause just noticed that most of your posts advertise that hair straightener. They should be paying you for all the free advertising..Ha ha Wink

    I have used this product called "Frizz ease" in the past for frizzy hair. Mine is not too frizzy though, I am not sure how well it works for super frizzy hair. But you can give it a shot, I thik it costs around $4 - $ 5.

    Poker straight hair is no longer fashionable. It is too tempting for someone with frizzy wavy or curly hair to try straightening it. Frizzy wavy or curly hair is usually more dry and brittle than straight hair, therefore can easily become heat damaged with straightening irons of any sort. It is also extremely time consuming forever straightening hair that really doesn't want to be straight! And then when you go out in the rain it just does its own thing! Quite honestly, if you have naturally kinked hair you are better off looking for products that helps define waves and curls, and it looks so much nicer than straight hair. Straightening my hair ruined the condition of it. I am still trying to sort it out as it is long and has to gradually be cut out now. Since I stopped using straighteners my hair has become much better condition. I use John Frieda Frizz Ease, Shampoo, Conditioner, serum and Dream Curls curl perfecter. If it is damp weather I also spray it lightly. No more fear of going out in the rain. No more endless hours in front the mirror straightening it. All I straighten now is my fringe. I am free!!! Very Happy
