From Asia,
Hi all,
I have super frizzy hair and the humidity where i live makes it even more frizzy no matter how much serum i use...I'm bored of putting my hair up coz well....its too frizzy to do anything else..I've straightened my hair twice but it doesnt look good when my wavy hair starts to grow....
Could someone recommend a good, durable straightener or hair dryer? From the reviews, it appears that T3 and GHD get the top ranks but they're a lil pricey for me..... any other suggestions?
Thanks very much!

Hi there. Invest your money into a good set of straighteners the GHD maybe pricey but there far better than any other iron on the market. There the only one's we use in our hair salon
If you look after them they will last for years. -

I could never wear my hair down as it was just completely out of control. No products would help. My T3 wide plate straigheners from Salonlines.co.uk' allowed me for the first time in 25 yrs to wear my hair down with total confidence. I know they seem pricey, but I've tried numerous cheaper brands and wasted my money. The confidence they have given me in the way that I feel is worth every penny! -

Cut your hair short.
I have a little frizzy hair. But I found if my hair is short, it is ok, more straigh than longer. -

I find having the weight of long hair keeps mine straighter for longer. Have it trimmed regularly to keep it healthy. -

From Uk,
Hi, I got my GHDs from 4yourhair.co.uk for just £77.00 including delivery. They arrived the next day!! I know that it is still a lot of money but I am not sure it is worth trying some of the other cheaper straighteners at this price. I used to have some Babyliss ones and they were useless. I have tried the GHD oil but found it to be sticky and not very nice.

I've bought a pair of new straighteneres for a change a few weeks ago called Go-straight Digital Titanium, so far so good. The price is relatively good, they look pretty nice (white & pink) and these plates make my hair really soft and smooth. I think you should try them. -

try remington 2x straighteners, with slim plates. i have long curly hair, and they have the same effect as ghds, even when the ghds are used by different hairdressers. theyre also cheap - you can get them for £20 if you shop around on the internet. just DONT get babyliss straighteners of any kind. ive had bad experiences with 4 different models.
if you want to wear your hair permanently straight, ask your hairdresser about chemical straightening. it like a perm but it works the opposite way. prices vary, but it means not having to go through the ritual of straightening every day. however, if you choose this option it dries your hair out - id reccomend having an intensive conditioning treatment regularly. if tou cant afford it done at the hairdresssers, choose a home option. john frieda does a good one, at under £5 for a large pot. you can get it from some supermarkets, like sainsburys, or from boots. hope this helps. -

From Huddersfield,
hi there i was ghds no1 fan till both pairs broke in the same way!!! try FHI straightners, they are on ebay for about £50 cheaper than ghds but if any thing better they have heat settings from fine hair to afro hair, so maybe good idea to try them if your not so sure about paying the money try find a salom what use these to see if they are good enough, the salon i use have stopped using ghds and gone on the FHI (stands for f* & %ing hot innit!) another plus point- they come in pink aswell as black
