I have to say the Ipods are worse, especially the video ones. Rip off! I figure it's only in the market still cuz a lot of 12 year old girls keep buying them cuz they are avaliable in pink!

I bought my ipod nano 4GB black about 6 months ago and have had no problems whatsoever. It scratches, but no more than I'd expect considering how I treat it, and the battery is nowhere near 14hours worth, if you wanna change songs and hence use the screen light. But the ~6 hours battery life I get is adequate, and it's tiny. I personally think ipods greatest weakness is the restrictiveness of itunes. You either keep everything on your computer, or accept that if your ipod crashes, you have to reload and recompile all your playlists. Annoying! -

I'd say the more expensive iPods are a rip-off.
But I've had the shuffle for ages now and I love it!

I've had my 4 gig white iPod nano for over a year now and it works fine. as long as you treat it nicely (as if i were your girlfriend) ti should be fine.
my only pet peeve is the quality of the earbuds, but you can use any headphones you want so it isn't all that much of a problem. -

I won an ipod! It's not pink and I'm not a 12 year old girl! Never used anything like it before but was surprised how easy it is for an oldie like me! There is a thingy you can buy, saw one in Tesco yesterday for £29.99 to plug it in to a car stereo. But you probably knew that already! I'm still catching up with all this technical stuff. In my day we had large radio's that we could carry around with an ear piece for one ear. God how awful! Ha! Now the ipod thingy is tinier than the old radio volume control!
No, there were no dinosaurs around when I was a kid.
