Since my last post after driving around London it is possible that any electric car is the best vehicle. It has free parking and no congestion charge that has to be the two top factors around London. The Honda Insight seems exceptional a hybred vehicle so not as limited as an electric. The Honda Insight is the best City car for me Very Happy .

The GeeWizz electric car looks useful around town. It is silent and pollution free.

Very Happy lol, hi everyone! my names JD, and im a mechainic! unfortunatley i dont live in a city so i wouldn`t know......how about a peugeot 206GTI ?

    From United Kingdom,

I agree Peugeot's are nice cars!, A peugeot 206 would be an ideal car for the city.. My sister has Volkswagen golf!, now they are FAST!, fantastic to drive, and well built, but parts are a lot more expensive than Peugeot so I am lead to believe, I have a 306 1.9 TD Sport, and its ideal for towns, but not so brilliant for some country back roads due to it being low!

On a slightly different topic, for those inexperienced drivers, when you come into the country side, one piece of advice.. SLOW down for corners LOL Exclamation this week alone there has been four accidents in my local area due to drivers not knowing the roads.. needless to say, there are some nice big holes in the hedges around here, and some badly injured people (one corner has this year claimed at least three vehicles) Exclamation

I do not think a forum on city cars should have advise on driving in the country. But I would rather a driver goes through a hedge that a queue of people at a bus stop so may be new drivers should sent to the country to get crashing out of their system.

lol.. true.. we don't have to worry about buses in our area Exclamation Plenty of tractors though Evil or Very Mad ..
Anyway.. City cars - well I've given my opinion, although I must say these 4x4's people seem to buy just to drive round town (and do a school run) Confused not exactly easy to park for most people, ideal for the country, but more of a nuisance in towns (smaller confined areas), you'd be better off with a smaller vehicle seeing that they are so darn expensive to run.

My sister sold her Landrover Discovery and got a Volkswagen Golf, she can now go double the distance on the same amount of fuel everything seems cheaper! - Although floods are now an major issue! (I can see why people love them so much, needless to say I still want one, despite what I have just said!) - Although I live in the country and lowered cars cause me some major headaches when you meet another car on a back road.
