I am about to buy an AEG D5701 double oven and an AEG 6410 ceramic hob but have been put off by some very damning reviews of AEG products and support staff. Can any owners of these please let me know if they are worth buying? Any particular good or bad points? Thanks.

    Hi,

I deal a lot with AEG in my job and they are normally very good. I have never really had a problem with returns (but have with stock allocation - but thats because of demand). They have a good aftersales team and are closely related to Electrolux.

I would recommend them as their appliances are very well made and reliable. When we install a kitchen we normally recommend AEG or Neff for the appliances as they rarely (and I mean rarely) let us down.
