Honda civic 1.5 lsi

Hi i have a honda civic 1.5 lsi 3door. Ive had this car for about 8 months it was fine for about 2 months and then i put stp fuel injector treatment in with a full tank of petrol and since then i have been getting like 7mpg.It has just started guzzling fuel like crazy, i took it to be put on the diagnostic comp and the guy said it was the oxygen sensor so he changed it,but its still exactly the same now he is saying i need a cat converter becoz the gasses are blocked ,it has done 95000miles.When i first boought the car i was getting amazing fuel consumption like 48mpg?"
