I got a K750i with 9 months FREE line rental.
There a plenty of 12 month FREE line rental deals too for phones that arent as nice as that one but have better minutes and texts etc
I plan to get a 12 month free deal and stick the SIM card in my k750i and sell the free phone that I got.
The deal is still on

Yeah - I have actually done that now and sold the L6 phone that I got for free for 50 quid on Ebay !
Only trouble is that as soon as I got that deal for the K750i they went and reduced the price again - typical!

Can you explain how the cashback sytem works? Do I pay the money each month and then they give it straight back to me? Do I really pay nothing for the 12 month contract?
I know I sound niave but I've always gone to a store before. I'm so pleased I found this site!

Cash back
Cash back is a method the Networks use to entice people to buy their contract deals.
A typical Cash Back deal would be a 200 cross net minutes with 300 text messages a month for £30 a month with £360 cash back.
£30 x 12 months = £360 so the contract would work out to be free over the year.
You will need to pay the full line rental each month and you will receive the Cash Back usually in 3 payments, months 4, 8 and 12 .
So for this example the payments you would receive could be £120 in month 4, 8 and 12 totalling £360, so although you paid the line rental in full each month because of the Cash Back cheques it worked out as the full contract term being free.
Some networks give you a full Cheque and some networks credit your “Airtime account” this just means the credit will be on your account so any bills due would be deducted from your credit amount until the credit has gone, whilst your account is in credit you will receive no direct debit withdrawals. If you would like a cheque instead of a credit on your Airtime account, just ask them and they will send out a cashable cheque.
To receive your Cash Back you need to send in your bill to confirm you want the Cash Back.
Some Networks give time limits for you to send in your bill to them (basically if you forget then they get to keep your Cash Back money for that month) but if you note down on a calendar when you need to send the bill back and how long you have to do it then everything should be ok.
Sometimes there might be disputes whether or not they received your bill or not , so it is always best to send you bill back Special Delivery where it is insured and guaranteed to arrive the next day or Signed for where someone at their end has to sign for it and confirm they have received the letter.
As long as you stick to the dates set out in your contract and make sure your bill will get there on time you will have no problems in claiming your Cash Back.
