Boosey & Hawkes Trombone Query

I recently acquired a Boosey & Hawkes Imperial Trombone (don't ask the key I have no idea though I think it's Bb) I am trying to find some information out about this now discontinued model (superceded in the mid 70's by the Sovereign).



Does anyone know of any sites where you can look up serial numbers to get a dating? I know there are some but I'm beggared if I can find them and believe me I have tried some keywords lol.



Also if anyone knows of any reputable restoration firms in the South Manchester area I would greatly appreciate it
