From Sheffield,
I really need some help when it comes to GHD'S!!
Everyone is saying how rubbish they are and how they always blow up on you and last for less than a year, but then I read all these reviews and they all say how brilliant they are! ( even though some say that they actually do blow up on you)
I really dont know what to do, if you have GHD'S have they ever blown up on you, how long have you had them for and if they do break then can you replace them with a new pair?
Infact why do they blow up on you, is it when you overuse them, im really stuck!!!!
If you have any advice i would appreciate it!
thanks

The reason for the GHD's blowing up is that there was a faulty batch that got sent out, i worked for Boots last year and we got sent a fulty batch. I do have GHD hairstraighteners, as do a lot of my friends and they are great! They last years i think i had one pair for around two years and have just replaced them with another pair cause i got the new special edition ones for xmas!

I bought ghd straightners and they are fantastic the best ever, i would never ever use anything else now, they heat up so quickly too in a minute they are ready, i would recommend them to any of my clients as i am a freelance hairdresser so hope that helps you

I think that GHD's are a totally worth while purchase. I have had mine for ages, they always leave my hair straight and silky smooth, and I have never had any problems with them.
I got mine for http://www.salonlines.co.uk and would recommend these guys 110% - they were delivered next day, and they are the cheapest I have found on the internet.
They are only £99.95 from Salonlines and you get a free Silk results champoo and conditioner worth £19.95 or with a free Radial brush and heat resistant mat. - Bargain! Can't ask for better than that really.
I did a little research on the price of GHDs on the 'net:
* www.salonlines.co.uk - £99.95 with free shampoo and conditioner worth (£18.95) - without £98.95
* www.lookfantastic.co.uk -£119.00 (Non-members) & £99.99 (Members)
* www.ukhairdressers.co.uk - couldn't find ghd hair straighteners
* www.jasonshankey.co.uk - £102.95 with a free heat mat - without £98.99
* www.amazon.co.uk - £102.00 -
