What sound system?

I’ve decided to bite the bullet and splash my cash on a top of the range sound system. At first I was drawn to the BOSE 3.2.1 GS but now all I can think is the Sony DAV-X1!! To be honest there’s nothing between them in terms of spec but the cheaper price tag and pure beauty of the DAV-X1 means I’m just about to invest in Sony! Does anyone own one of these beauties or currently facing the same dilemma as me?
