From Uk,
I have used 3 different hair straighteners over the years with no luck.
I have got medium/thick wavy hair, and unless i go to my hairdressers nothing seems to work properly.
I would appreciate any advice.

I would recommend GHD's I have had mine for ages, they always leave my hair straight and silky smooth, and I have never had any problems with them.
I got mine for http://www.salonlines.co.uk and would recommend these guys 110% - they were delivered next day, and they are the cheapest I have found on the internet.
They are only £99.95 from Salonlines and you get a free Silk results champoo and conditioner worth £19.95 or with a free Radial brush and heat resistant mat. - Bargain! Can't ask for better than that really. -

You Should definately go for the new GHD mk4 straighteners. They are he best on the market and are the only straighteners any respected hair salon would use. The new model features a 2 year warranty, more rounded barrell, world-wide voltage capabilities and better heat regulated tempreture technology.
Check out Haircare Heaven - for GHD MK4 Straighteners they are the cheapest i have found - only £94.95 including free delivery. They are also available in the limited edition GHD Summer travel bag.
