Need Help Installing Driver

I brought a USB to IrDA cable for my Sony Ericsson T630. But I get problem installing driver for it. I tried to install the driver from the CD but it installs the driver and says to restart, but when PC is restarted, it still asks to install driver. I have 3 Windows, 98, 2000 and XP and all 3 are showing same problem. The Cable that I purchased is of RedBridge. When I go to See the list of Intalled/Unstalled Devices, it shows a 'USB-Serial Controller' as Uninstalled. I tried an upgraded driver from its website mobileaction.com, but problem is still the same. Kindly help me anyone who have suffered such problem or have some very technical knowledge about this
