Hertfordshire venues

Hi, my future hub and I have been visiting local hotels/golf clubs function rooms etc for a suitable venue for a wedding breakfast and evening reception. We have found that the places we have looked at are either out of our price range or not suitable. We are running out of ideas. Are there any bride-to-be's out there in the Hatfield/Welwyn area of Hertfordshire who can recommend/suggest wedding venues? Any advice would be most welcome.
