I need some help on what to use..

Alright, I'm new to this... well I am a male. And my hair is fairly long (goes almost to my shoulders) And also I plan on getting light brown highlights within the next month.
And I was wondering what type of shampoo I should use. I really like the Clairol brand shampoos (Herbal Essences, etc.) However, I've noticed that there not too good with dandruff.. and I have somewhat of a dandruff problem. So I was wondering what I should use? I use shampoo and conditioner.
My hair is dandruff prone, quite oily, and kind of a dark brown however as I said earlier I'm soon to get highlights. Please offer me some advice.

use Control Dandruff shampoo and Stimulating Balm conditioner by ag haircosmetics... all of their shampoos are safe for colour treated hair. you should really use a salon professional product. drugstore shampoos have a high salt content - salt dries out the hair and scalp which may further aggravate the problem.
