Now. I start my Christmas shopping around Summer time, because then you can get what you want, becuse otherwise, you dont get what you want when it comes to middle of December and everyone is there.
My friends think Im mad,
but I insist it is logical.
Am I indeed being crazy, or logical as I seem:?: -

I think it is smart to shop early. No last minute stress and you for sure get what you want. In my experience from the last years, people get really bummed when things are out of stock 2 weeks before christmas. Last year scammers were making a lot of money with ipods. They knew it would be the biggest thing for teenagers. And they knew that they will be sold out way before christmas. I saw on ebay ipods going for $1000 (crazy???), because parents felt obligated to buy it for their kids. If they would have bought it in September, they would have had all products to select from, no stress and would have saved a lot of money.
It also makes sense to plan early when you buy your gifts online. Shipping delays before Christmas can become a nightmare sometimes.
So I do think it is logical. Good luck

couldnt agree more - start early !, christmas shopping is a nightmare and everything goes out of stock unless you get in really early on the web, especially with the delivery times around christmas.
Ive been using a new site www.wooklums.co.uk and its been really good, good eclectic mix of stuff, also looked at the personalised gift site mentioned above really good idea, will be buying some of that this year !!. Another great one is www.play.com I bought some books and cds recently much much cheaper than amazon orr anyone else I could find, and the delivery was really quick.
Best of luck everyone, and go easy on the socks ! -

cant see any bargains on here, just a load of links to the brand owners site, isnt there a better way of getting deals by finding smaller suppliers ?
lots and lots of links though, quite useful for browsing and reminding you of your favourite brand names, so mayeb a good place to start your shop -

A very nice site: Santagram- there you can ask "Santa" to send a telegram to your children.
I sent one to my little sister (6years old) and now she is even more excited about the coming Christmas because she has no more doubt that Santa really exists!
Also a good idea for grown-ups - you can compose a funny text yourself and send it, for example, to your colleague!
By the way, if you enter the code GW4822 when making an order, you will get 1 pound discount
Hope you will enjoy it!!! -
