Hi!
I don't have any brand to recommend, because my hair straightener's already an old one. I don't use a straightener anymore, because with the right skills and right hair dryer, you can get a result that is almost just as good without damaging your hair as much as with a straightener.
But it does take some time before you learn how to blow dry your hair straight, so if you prefer a straightener, then make sure to use a protection gel. Blow drying your hair damages the it, but straightening it is even worse, so you should always use a heat protection gel!
BTW: why don't you ask your hairdresser which brand and products he recommends. He will give you the best information, I'm sure
