Hi,
Am not a very inventive person but have sundried tomatoes in oil and fresh oregano - how do I make a sauce to go with my meatballs? please help!

Well, Stephanie, I'm surprised someone hasn't responded to your question until now. The ingredients you listed are a good start, but you'll need a few more to create a good sauce. Try chopping up about a half of the sun-dried tomatoes and combining them with a quarter cup of chopped onion, a couple cloves of minced garlic, a #2 can of crushed tomatoes, 4 ounces of white wine, a teaspoon of dried basil, a teaspoon of your oregano (finely chopped) and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer these ingredients in a sauce pan for about half an hour, then add your meatballs and simmer another fifteen minutes. -

Just go into Sainsbury's and buy a bottle of Levi Root's Reggae Reggae Sauce. It's only £1.49 and a lot less bother than making your own!
