I need to find a Bank with UK branches where I can open a Euro Bank Account whose Euro cheques will be accepted for paying things in France.
The cheques from my current (UK Bank) Euro account are not acceptable in France.
Any help?? -

Yes, I'm in the UK and have a similar problem. I have talked to Deutsche Bank who recommend their online account. The only problem is that I have to get "validated" by a consul or somebody first (as I do not have a German address) and have not had the opportunity to do this yet. I tried going direct to a branch when I was in Rome last week. They were unable to help but suggested that my own UK bank should be able to reccomend me to any other bank. -

For Brits & France, Britline, a branch of Credit Agricole, is quite good.
For occasional money transfer, < a href="http://
