I need to find a Bank with UK branches where I can open a Euro Bank Account whose Euro cheques will be accepted for paying things in France.

The cheques from my current (UK Bank) Euro account are not acceptable in France.

    Any help??

Yes, I'm in the UK and have a similar problem. I have talked to Deutsche Bank who recommend their online account. The only problem is that I have to get "validated" by a consul or somebody first (as I do not have a German address) and have not had the opportunity to do this yet. I tried going direct to a branch when I was in Rome last week. They were unable to help but suggested that my own UK bank should be able to reccomend me to any other bank.

For Brits & France, Britline, a branch of Credit Agricole, is quite good.

    For occasional money transfer, < a href="http://
