Garden PRoblem

Hello all
Thanks for taking the time to read my gardening problem :O) I’ve just started getting into gardening in a big way as a pastime and I’m at present re-designing my own garden. I’ve got so far into my project and I’m finding I’ve come up against a problem I’m not to sure how to solve!! My garden in 13’ x 32’ and is sloped which has a gradient of about 3 and a half feet. I’ve built decking 1 third of the way and I want to build a small terrace to level of the next part of my project but I’m unsure which is the best way to do so since I’ve got a sloping path way to build as well. The terraced level will be about 3m2 and only raises to about 20cm but what do I do next??

I've recently taken up gardening as a pass time as well, i have found the internet such a great source of information and problem solver, also its made me come across so much information that i would have never concidered myself.
