Hi people i have a really embarassing prob. i have thick hair growing on every part of my body. When i was 15 i made the silly mistake of shaving and waxing in places that i shouldn't have even though i had no hair there to start with. Now im 25 and i have ended up with thick hairs all over my stomach, around my belly button, around my nipples, legs, arms, backs of my hands and fingers, thighs, back, not only that, i have red spots, razor bumps and ingrown hairs all over these parts of my body. Im so stressed out i cant even show my hands or arms in public. i cant afford major treatments like laser or electrosys. my hair grows back sooooooooo fast after waxing or shaving. please help this is a serious problem.

    Hello there dear!!

I also have the exact same problem... I cant even wear tanktops or t-shirts because of the state of the hair on my arms Crying or Very sad

I was thinking that one of the only solutions (albeit very expensive) is laser treatment... some places will remove hair from almost anywhere!

Let me know how you get on, I will do the same.

And anyone else with info pleassseeeee reply!!!

    THANK YOU

    Hi

I'm a laser nurse (with 6 years experience) so if I can be of any help to you, please free to ask any questions.

What I would stress is that wherever you go, make sure the therapist has been trained on the machine they are using and that the clinic is registered with the Healthcare Commision. You should ask to see certificates for these two things. A clinic not registered with the Healthcare Commission is breaking the law and trading illegally.

Crystal Clear has a fantastic IPL system launched this year. It is affordable treatment and available in many reputable beauty salons.

The salons have to be approved by Crystal Clear and have to go through the healthcare commission process before they can start to offer the treatment. Check out www.crystalclear.co.uk for your nearest salon!

hi there.i can understand your plight, it can be quite embarassing to have a lots of body hair. you can go for simple methods that will cause you to spend monthly on hair removal or you could also opt for more lasting method, like laser hair removal-its rather costly from what i have gathered. But to me, permanent hair removal sounds risjy, but you can always try knowing more about it.

Hi. There is something else you can try if you like. Go to see your doctor and ask about medicines like Dianette. Dianette is a form of the contraceptive pill that can be used to treat excessive dark hair growth and also acne (I know this sounds a weird combination, but it's because of its effects on your hormone levels). Your doctor may or may not think this is suitable for you, but I'd say it's worth a go. It really does work for some people. It may seem embarrassing but the doctor will have seen it many, many times before. Also, it's useful to remember that bleaching, plucking and waxing are often better options than shaving - I use bleaching for facial hair (another embarrassing issue, but a lot of girls do it!) and plucking and waxing for other areas because the hairs grow back fewer and finer afterwards than they do when you shave.

Hope this helps you and anyone else in the same situation.

I can give you a natural advice..
Use "Spring bars" to remove your facial hair..Dont try to wax or shave your hair, it will not only damage your skin but also sows seeds for excessive hair growth. "Spring bars" are natural (no chemicals/stuff), they remove the hair from its roots without damaging your skin with a little pain (If you want to rate me the level of pain between 1-10 where 10 is the labor pain, i will give it 1.5)..I am using spring bars from myspringit.com for the past 6 months, it is working good for me..
    Hope it helps!

Go to the QVC website and you will see a new product called "No No! hair removing system. It uses new technology (thermal waves as opposed to laser or epilation) and sounds just what you need. It has had fantastic reviews and guarantees you will be hair free in about 6-8 months depending on how many times a week you use the system. It is priced at £140 normally but today its being launched at £105. Spare blades etc are available too.

Take a look at the video on the website too.
