Hello can anyone polease help me. I bought an Orange D500 from ebay but I cannott phone out on it.
when I try to call any phone numbers a message appears "call diverted", then it cuts off the dialling and goes back to the main screen.

It also says limited service on it.

Does anyone know how I can sort this problem.

I have used an orange sim and a vodaphone sim card, but both of these do not work.

Do I need to type in any sort of code.

    cx

Yes, more than likely the phone has been reported lost or stolen.

The only way to unblock the phone is to change the IMEI, which is illegal or if the network put the phone back on but only if you own the phone and have proof (receipt) that you purchased the phone.

The problem you have is that you phone is blocked/barred (basically its been reported lost or stolen) But i can help you, if u like i can buy the phone off you for a good price. Which model is the phone? if you want to discuss this give me a message on kkkoyes@hotmail.com. The way to make it work again is u need to change the imei. If you want i can provide cable with software to do this (unblock) the phone yourself with your pc, with complete step by step instructions (easy) for a cost of £27 inc. p & p. This will also unblock most (probably all) samsung phones and can also unlock them. And use it as many times as you want.

(note: imei tampering maybe a criminal offence in your country, please be aware of these laws. I by no means condone the use of the item fo such things as imei repairing or changing) Exclamation Very Happy

(prices are negotiable) FOR QUERIES/MORE (CLEAR) DETAILS : kkkoyes@hotmail.com

You'll find it is a fault with the Samsung D500, I'm on Orange , had the D500 for 11 months then all of a sudden it started coming up limited service, and searching for network, Orange ADMITTED they have found a "problem" with the D500 even though they are still offering them to customers!

They will not replace it or repair it! I'm currently seeking leagal advice!

So i would suggest the person who sold it on Ebay had the same trouble as me, and unfortunatly wasn't truthful when they sold it to you.

You caould try Samsung service on 0870 242 0303 see if they can suggest something?

    Good luck

    Hi

My son bought a samsung D500 for £50 it says limited service. I think this phone must have been reported lost or stolen. Can anyone help me unbar this phone please. Read some of the messages and someone mentioned an IMEI what does this mean?
