    hi all

    I have a Dell E172FP 17" TFT monitor which won't come out of "sleep" mode (i.e. after the PC has gone into sleep and powered down the monitor, moving the mouse / kb etc will not wake up the monitor)
    It seems like something on the Power board as it fires up then clicks and blank screens.
    I've stripped down the Monitor, but nothing appears burned out on the PCB's. Anyone have any idea's or know where I can get schematics?

    I know your question was 18 months ago - but I have a Dell 17" TFT monitor which you might conceivably have use for. My TFT panel is cracked - however the unit itself works fine. So you could maybe put your panel in my unit and get a working monitor out of it.

    If you were interested in buying it, I could ship it to you...
