Acne Mark Leave a little Head

Well hi, had a pimple just next to my mouth, so i worked with it using Erythormycin , and i think once i had put alot of this solution, so the area became red, and now after 2 weeks it's still red, the pimple has gone but it left a little head, a red one, is this going to be there for a life time or what?? help me pls:) thanks in advance
