Just wondered if anyone could help me on a few points?
1) Me and my mates have booked to stay at the Hotel Malliotakis Beach and we was told that it is in the centre of Malia, but after some research on the internet i have found out that it is in Stalis. Could anyone shed any light on this?
2) How far apart are Stalis and Malia (walking distance)?
3) Would the Hotel Malliotakis Beach and Stalis be ok for a group of 6 21yrs+ lads?
Thank you for your help. -

Hi just got back from two weeks at the malliotakis hotel it is in Stalis it is about a 10-15min walk to centre of Malia but believe me you dont want to be in the centre, if you have rear facing apartments then you over look the pool and the beach which is about 200 yards away.
Bit of advise about the hotel stay away from the old man he is rude and will shout at you in Greek the 2 bar men are very nice but what ever you do dont get up for breakfast 2 slices of bread jam and a tiny slither of ham really not worth it. Also you have to pay for sunbeds but cheaper and more comfortable to get lilos from supermarket over the road.
All in all we had a really good holiday i'm sure you will enjoy as long as you stay away from the old man
I am sure you will have a great holiday
Let me no if i can help anymore -

Hi, I just booked a holiday here with a group of friends and having booked it we saw some reviews which said that the hotel was absolutely terrible with excrement all over the place and things frequently getting stolen.
Are these reviews overexaggerated or should I start looking for a different hotel. -

Hi, we went a little while ago now but the actual rooms and pool area were fine no problems with the walls or anything lol. the only thing i would steer clear of is the communal toilets downstairs they didnt look to great would much rather go to own room. It might of changed since i went but i only went last july so cant see that happening. hope this helps. -

I'm going here in the summer too! Found a few horrid reviews of the place, even considered cancelling and looking for a new hotel but then found some half decent ones and spoke to someone via email who stayed there- she said the owners aren't keen on big groups of rowdy lads and let it be known! So I guess as long as you and your mates aren't too rowdy you should get on ok.
When are you there, i'm going beginning of July
