need urgent help for my dyed hair

I have medium-dark brown hair. It gets bl;eached by the sun and I wanted to dye a slightly darker nicer all over brown! I bought schwarzkopf live in 'jackie Brown' and to my horror its come out purle/red, I hate its disgusting on me! anyone know what I can do? unfortunately its permanent, is there anything I can use to colour over it or strip it of the colour? please please help!
