Travel Hair Straighteners???

hey! Just wondering if anyone has any advice on what hair straighteners to take to America? I'm travelling out there for 4 months and i'm desperate to take some hair straighteners with me. I've taken my GHDs out there before but they took ages to heat up and weren't as good out there (voltage difference) and have since found out that it can ruin them using them with a different voltage...ooops! So wondering if anyone knows any good multi-voltage ones or travel ones. Any info would be great!!! Preferably cheaper than GHDs as I dont want to spend loads just for using them on holiday!
