I have bought my brand new Ludix Blaster last Friday
, i have rode it all over the weekend and very happy with it
. But i noticed there is a restricter on it, i am just wondering does anyone know how to take out the restricter
? i think i no it is a fuse
? but i dont know which one or where to find it? Just because i have a Blaster the restricter thing might be the same on all the Ludix models, so if anyone knows
THANKS

Ok since that post i have found out there is a restrictor on it but i cant find it. I now know its not a fuse but somthing else. Me and my uncle have had a go at taking the washer restrictor out of the variator. We had a look and took out the variator, we noticed that there was no washer on the variator! We checked it all over and there was nothing that was washer looking! Could anyone tell me where to go from here? I know that it isnt deristricted because i bought it new from a dealer, and also i get a "jurky" holding me back motion when i go downhill at top speed when doing around 38-40mph. This is what is making me think that it is ristricted! Could anyone tell me what to do now? thanks -

When you say they de-restrict it what do they do as such? im only asking because mine is on a warrenty thing, and if they like (deform) the bike in any way, like cut anything off then my warrenty is void!
cheers!

dont worry mate it is not illegal to de- restrict it if you are 17. if u are still 16 it is illegal but get your local bike mechanic etc to do it for you (at an official shop) and dont worry they dont change anything about the appearence of the bike it is to do within or near the motor happy bikin mate -

OK i have been looking for an answer for this whole de-ristricting problem, i may have found an answer! I have been looking at this product scooter-center.com
Its called a CDI Unit which on my Ludix Blaster is situated in next to where the battery is. Well the one on my bike is a re-stricted cdi unit, and this product is a de-restricted cdi unit. Just wondering has anyone heard of this? What happens if i do change it? Cheers -

that rubber pipe that runs into the carb is a counter revving device. I know it de restricts of a sort, but not sure to what extent. If you shove that sports pipe on, or remove the rubber pipe you should be crusin alot faster, and have mor bhp actually bout 6.2! -
