Which type of T3 hair straighteners?

Hiya, I'm thinking of buying some T3s and would love some feedback on which sort is kinder to hair - the ordinary ones or the wet to straights? My hair is very curly and frizzy and my GHDs do a marvellous job of straightening, but are definitely having a bad effect on the condition. Suppose the sensible thing would be to give up straightening, but I so don't want to...
