Right from the bottom up....
t-mobile codes.... well as I work for them ... ur on your own!!!
transferring sim from old phone to new one... should work fine... just make sure all your phonebook is stored on your SIM not your handset otherwise it wont transfer over... you may have a problem if you have a very old SIM (i.e. an old blue one2one sim)
100% free t-mobile sim - its true - not a bad offer eh!!!!
with regards to blackberry connection dropping... the reason why they asked for examples is so we can raise an incident with our engineers to look into it for you... they need some sorta refernce point, and the postcode and date/time of call hels pinpoint the logs on the system, which tell us exactly what the cell site / handset relationship was like at the time.... as u can imagine... there are reams of logs every second, and date and time narrow it down.. it sounds more handset related to me from the info you have given.... why do people automatically blame the network!!! I have personally never heard of this issue before and I worked on the technical helpdesk for 6-8 mnths... i suggest giving them their examples so at least we can rules a few things out... it can take time but we will try to get to the bottom of it!!
ROGUE data charges... right then.... THIS IS COMING FROM THE HANDSET.... we know this because every time your phone does ANYTHING the SIM card serial number, the handset IMEI and the cell site info is logged.... maybe you have deactivated the WAP, but there are other things that can cause this.... email... which can be set up to 'dial in' every 10-15 seconds uses data like no tomorrow, is just one example... and you dont have to be using the phone for it to do this!! the MDA 3 is a particularly complex handset with data connections for almost eveything.... so dont be so sure it is a fault at t-mobile....
