    Hi

I am now 31 years old. Since I turned 20, I have suffered with persistant cystic acne which left me with scars as well as painful huge lumps on my face. I couldn't have gone on like this- even kissing my little boy goodnight was sometimes too painful to bear. I looked into the Roaccutane treatment but I didn't like the dound of the side effects and even thought about going on a pill to control it even though I have been sterilized. This wasn't an option however as we have Thrombosis in the family and my doc refused. It seemed I had 2 option left- 1. just to live with it and 2. Roaccutane. I went back to my doc and he referred me to my local hospital to have me put on Roaccutane.

While I was awaiting the appointment to come through, I started searching the net for other possible cures or at least something to provide a bit of relief from the pain the acne was causing me. It was then that I came across tea tree as a possible cure. I'm a skeptic with herbal stuff but by this time, I was prepared to try anything. I bought a bar of mint and tea tree soap from my local supermarket and started washing my face with it every morning and every night (before this, I was using just normal soap). I just couldn't believe what happened! Day by day I noticed fewer and fewer spots and cysts appearing on my face and inside of a week, my whole face cleared up.

At least give it a try before using Roaccutane products- I'm so glad I did. Months later, my skin is still spot free- I even have before and after pics that I took with my phone if anyone wants proof of what tea tree did for my skin. It might not work for everyone but you've nothing to lose, give it a go.
