Hello,
I have naturally dark hair and about three months ago I went through a total disaster of trying to dye it blonde. As I have long hair I had to use twice as many products, going through 2 pre-lighteners and 4 blonde dyes. This basically left me with dead orange straw hair. As I couldn't walk around looking like that I used the darkest dye I could find to cover it up and ended up having to go through 2 black dyes to cover it all. My plan then was to grow out all the dead hair and have it hacked off, then stick with my natural colour. However the black (permenant) dye has began to wash out leaving me with orangey patches. I really wanted to leave my hair alone but I can't leave it like this it looks awful.
- Can anyone recommend a very kind brand of permenant dye that will put my poor hair through the minimum ammount of stress but cover the orange?! -

The best thing to do if keep growing it out and use a intensive treatment at least once a week, when your hair is in a better condition you should try just slightly strecking it with a blonde colour, but only a few stands. Do them were the hair is mostly orange. Michelle

hiya i would say go to the hairdressers they will be able to dye it properly or give you advice on which dye to buy they also have treatments they can give you like deep intensive treatments and if you did want it blond they could probly go straight to that for you as well just book urself in for a consultation it doesn't cost and you can discuss whatever you like love kaity
