Hi, I have a Suzuki Across (GSX 250F) thats giving me some problems; Its an imported bike from Japan and has about 14,000 km on the clock. After I leave it over night it starts only for a few seconds and then dies. When I try to start it again it doesn't even turn over. It push starts easily and then runs well for the rest of the day starting easily when I turn it off and on. But after I leave it overnight it does the same thing again. Can anyone help me?

sorry i missed the part about it not even turning over after it cuts out. have you checked the battery or alternator. seems very strange.

do you take off choke quickly? does it run strong?...sounds like it is close to correct adj....richen the idle mix a small bit to see what happens....

i also have a problem with my 93 across. the plugs were breaking down after only a few minutes of the
bike running (stopping and starting) i found that there was water getting into 3 (1,2,3) piston chambers. i then put new head gasket onto the across after the head was checked for cracks and warping. the problem still exists - the water was filling the piston chambers again even with no water pressure, has anybody heard of this problem before? please help.
