Hi, I have a Suzuki Across (GSX 250F) thats giving me some problems; Its an imported bike from Japan and has about 14,000 km on the clock. After I leave it over night it starts only for a few seconds and then dies. When I try to start it again it doesn't even turn over. It push starts easily and then runs well for the rest of the day starting easily when I turn it off and on. But after I leave it overnight it does the same thing again. Can anyone help me? -

is this a problem all year round? i assume it has a manual choke, could the choke be the problem -

sorry i missed the part about it not even turning over after it cuts out. have you checked the battery or alternator. seems very strange. -

do you take off choke quickly? does it run strong?...sounds like it is close to correct adj....richen the idle mix a small bit to see what happens.... -

i also have a problem with my 93 across. the plugs were breaking down after only a few minutes of the
bike running (stopping and starting) i found that there was water getting into 3 (1,2,3) piston chambers. i then put new head gasket onto the across after the head was checked for cracks and warping. the problem still exists - the water was filling the piston chambers again even with no water pressure, has anybody heard of this problem before? please help.
