    Hi e4chin,

Unfortunately yes. 1 point will be deducted for a deleted forum post.

Get a UTG AK-47 Warhawk. I've shot them and I'm impressed. It's about ten dollars over you're intended price range, but it's well worth the extra money. You'll need an extra battery eventually, the one that comes with the gun isn't exactly top quality. Other than that this gun is the gun to go with for someone on our budget.

i've always wanted an AK-47. i can get one real cheap too, but i would more likely get a panther A-14 (at least i think that's what they're called Embarassed )

There's a lot of different companies manufacturing DPMS Panther Arms AR-15's in airsoft, and from what I've seen most of them are springers. They're top of the line springers and they mostly run for under $100. However, if you want an AEG, like the title of your forum suggests, then I'd recommend not getting that gun. And also, AR-15s are generally semi-automatics if you do find an electronic one. If it's not an AR-15 then it might be an M4, and once again this is probably one of the most replicated guns on the market. They're generally automatic, and you can get one from between $10 and up to...way too much money. My advice- use this website before you buy a gun. Don't even consider buying a gun without checking it out on reviewcentre. It has helped me countless times. Through this you can get through the idiots who put thousands of exclamation marks after their reviews.

i hate those people too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... opps Embarassed

i don't ever buy any airsoft gun without looking up the reviews here and asking around on these forums. the latest gun i have bought is a spring Sig Saur P226. my other one broke and because i already had 3 magazines for it, it just made sense to stick with the P226 as my springer side arm. i have a mini electric uzi, which is very cool and fun to shoot, and a co2 pistol for my serious shooting. i did look up the uzi here in Review Centre and decided to buy it, but didn't look up the co2 gun and what do you know, the mag release breaks. i have jurry rigged it bu ti must be extremely careful now.

i have also identified why my guns broke. both the sig and the co2 gun broke when my friend was using them. now he's not allowed to touch anything, except for the sig that is already broken.

I agree with the logic of getting a decent spring or electric pistol. With Co2 you might find yourself being hit as the bbs bounce of stuff. Also Co2 is so powerful it would shatter bbs on contact causing lots of plastic fragments to be scattered every (trust me I have tried in my basement). A spring or an electric would be far better because instead of around 350 fps it would get more around 200.

That is for indoor shooting I mean.

Be careful though with shattered BB's, I had them all over my basement from a cheap Crosman springer until I cut myself pretty bad and decided to shoot only outside. Co2 is extremely powerful, I've seen up to about 400 fps in a relatively cheap gas gun. So is green gas. One of my friends has an electric g3 which shoots around 400 fps though. Choose carefully based upon what you want. If you want accuracy go for a sniper, the uhc super 9 is a good choice. If you want semi or fully auto, go for utg AK-47 warhawk or the utg mp5, they're basically the same thing. Shotgun, I'd go with the utg 870. Gas, I don't know too much about them, but I know that they're extremely powerful and my friend has a kwc ruger and it seems really nice, it runs on green gas I think. Of course, all of these are outshined by some of the more expensive tokyo marui, classic army, ect. guns. But for about $100 (kwc ruger about $50 and the utg 870 about $30) you can't get much better.
