Ferguson (Thomson) C51F service codes

Does anyone know how to get out of what appears to be "engineering mode" on this set. My granddaughter was playing with the remote control & the set now has a red 'P1' on the left & a box enclosing a right pointing arrow in the lower left. It does not indicate that it is responding to it's remote control anymore, nor a new universal one.

I was searching the web for information on how to store channel information on my Ferguson C51F but couldn't find anything.

Hi, I have inherited a c51f but have no user manual. I have spent hours trying to tune it in to no avail. I even bought another remote thinking the one i had was faulty so any help on how to tune in and store would be appreciated.

hi there, could you tell me how to store channels on this tv set, i press the yellow tuning button, then eventually tune the right channel, but how do store it?

I have aquired a C51F and have successfully tuned in the TV to the standard channels. However I don't know how to tune the TV to the video. I've set the video to test signal and then tried to find the 'bars' by progressively tuning the TV to each channel. However this has been unsuccessful. Please forward the instructions from your C51F manual. Thanks

I Have recently inhereted a ferguson C51F and have no idea how to tune it. I have the remote and have tried to muck about with it but cannot find the user manual so not really sure of what im doing.
Can anyone help please?
