Toshiba 300cds monitor

I have just got recon 300cds which is brilliant fro my purposes. However, after I upgraded the os to Win98, each time it loads up it detects the monitor and asks for the driver, click cancel and it works great. The driver is still on the machine....bit of a novice i'm afraid and any help would be appreciated.
