Orange - Upgrade

Just thought that you should all know what deals you can get when upgrading an Orange contract phone.

Had my contract 12 months so want to upgrade to a better phone (Samsung D500). Also my talkplan at the minute is rubbish (£25 pm - 120 mins). I was told that if i called Orange CS they will give better deals than in the shops.
I called and told them i wanted to cancel my contract as i had been offered the phone much cheaper than they could do it and a much better tarriff.
They made me lots of offers, none of which were cheap enough,(£99 for the phone was the original offer which they said was a very good price) i stayed on the phone and just kept saying i could get it cheaper elsewhere. Until they eventually offered me the phone for free and the tarriff is 120 mins (x net) + 270 txts for £15 pm.

Anyone upgrading should try this way as they will give in in the end (althiugh it does depend how much you have spent in the past etc.)

Anyone know - do they get commission depending on what deal they give etc?
