I've yet to really own a mobile phone, more due to the fact that I could get by without it and I found other ways to spend my money, but now I want one, but since I'm new to the technology, I need help.

I'm living here in the US, but I want a phone that will work in Hong Kong, Asia, and possibly in europe with a pay as you go deal. So triband is a must, but I'm not entirely sure what I need. I'd probably only use the phone for calling people, or sms, no fancy listening to radio, using the internet sort of deals. I'm not a big fan of the flip top models and I'm not too worried about cost. If I find the perfect phone, I'll shell out the money for it... please help.

    From Dublin, Ireland,

The 6310 is a good sturdy phone. This is tri-band and is just a basic phone - make and recieve calls and sms. No radio, no camera etc.

Have a look here for a big range of phones.
