Please help my exhausting search end. I want to burn my old NON-Digital VHS tapes to DVD.
What feature do I look for to be able to do this ? And I would like to be able to play them in any DVD player.
Has anyone done this with great quality ? Any model recommendations or general helpful info would be greatly appreciated.
The only review I have read that clearly states it improves the analog quality is the Pioneer 7000. But it runs about $800. Would like to find something that costs less.

I have just bought a dvd recorder from Asda (part of Walmart) for £100.
    Excellent machine.
Others which do the same job are upto £300.

Buy the recorder then put a scart lead between the two and copy all of your home movies.

My cousin paid £100, last year to a company to get 7 discs of family footage of grandchildren !!

The dvd recorder machine in Asda is a 4KUS brand. Never heard of the brand or machine, until I bought it, but I hadn't heard of the Pacific dvd machine either, until I bought one of those.

They are two of my best bargains ever.

    Cheers,
