Hi!
I would like to know if there is any software or application for mobile phone (K700i) that enables sending SMS messages by GPRS and therefore paying only the data sent and not the price of the SMS.

We have an application to send a message thru GPRS network. It sent a little tiny data package (1 Kb max). That's why it can be so cheap.

As an example, in our country, Indonesia, using Matrix SIM Card, the operator will charge Rp. 300 for an SMS, and they will charge Rp. 10 for every 1 Kb data thru GPRS (currency rate : 1 USD = Rp. 9800).

Since max. size of a message is 1 Kb, we can send approximately 6 SMS in one message for only Rp. 10. Or, we can send a message to 10 peoples in a time for only Rp. 10.

Not only that, we can send a message from web to mobile, vise versa.

This application, mobile messenger, is free to download. In order to use it, just buy the User IDand currently no monthly service charge.

It is compatible with mobilephone that support Java/J2ME MIDP 1. Mobile Messenger for mobilephone with MIDP 2 currently under development.
