    Does anyone have any advice about which DVD recorders to buy. I am after one for home use, but having read a few reviews I am confused by which ones I need to be able to record to watch on other DVD players.

    Any advice please?

    I'm looking at purchasing a dvd recorder. The two I have in mind are the Sony RDRGX300 and the Toshiba D-R2. Any comments?
