Hi Guys
Today I tried to call overseas using 7744.... nums at evening time , but I got same message on all : " line are busy, please try later 
". I should notice that I use Orange network. can anyone help me on this?

HI FOR ORANGE USE THE NUMBER WHICH I CANT WRITE BECAUSE THIS FORUM DOESNT ALLOW ME TO, STILL I AM TRYING, LOOK IT STARTS WITH 07744 AND THEN GOES ON WITH 939700WORKS BEST, REST ALL NUMBERS WILL ALWAYS SHOW THAT THEY ARE BUSY.

First a thank you to RC on the article on making free international calls.
However I think this was a few gaps and I have made a few pointers you should add so callers can understand the different charges and how it works. Briing.com is one of the first and original 07744 providers. and they sponsored me in buying a subscription on each network to make these check for them.
They have been running a unique 077 44 email alert list so you can stay on top of changes, and will be emailed as soon as we discover changes in who is charging! So join the largest alerting list on 07744 numbers
Instructions:
It is easy to make , and there are many providers, however there is a difference in how many destinations they offer.
Instructions:
1. Dial 077 44 plus 700 300
2. enter your international destination starting with 00
3. Finish with #
I have run a Survey for Briing.com and buying a subscription on every network, as well as contacting every network.
This is the Latest Results from my survey.
Orange Contract = Covered in x-network Inclusive Minutes.
O2 Contract = Covered in x-network Inclusive Minutes
Virgin Contract = Covered in x-network Inclusive Minutes
T-mobile Contract = not included in any call allowance (30p per minute)
3 Contract = not included in any call allowance (25p per minute)
Vodafone Paygo = you get 60 minutes call to our number for £1.20 pounds using STOP the Clock!. Which is cheap!
O2 PAYG = Covered in bolt on minutes - when you top up £10 you get 100 incl minutes! use the treat and you can end up with 120 mins free per week.
Fresh, Tesco, Easy = 15p/minute - see tesco trick!
Talk, Talk, Talk, M & S = 15p/minute
tricks we discovered:
Tesco:
You can add the 07744 700 300 to your "favorite numbers on Tesco mobile and hence go as low as 10p/min on tesco mobile. This can be done on other services giving you up to 50% extra credit on Briing.com
Vodafone:
Vodafone stop the clock, it works with that, so for £1.20 you get 60 minutes to almost all destinations.!
BT - Landlines = cost 26.05 peak, 18.74 off peak and 8.81 weekend.
The customer Care Responses:
T-Mobile actually stated for monthly contract it was Free/ then 25p after. So check. we know its 25p/min.
Vodafone cusotmer Service said "free" then afterwards 35p/minute we know its never free on Vodafone
Orange Said, it cost 42p peak, 25p off peak, and 12p weekend. And they are FREE! so they don't want you to save money, but we KNOW it is free !
Hence the confusion.
The Problem with Orange is that on 80% of their Cross network off peak
only minutes it is not included.
Tip on how to get a REFUND, if you have been charged.
If you call vodafone, t-mobile, etc and they say it's free, then you can always ask for a refund afterwards! And they are obliged to refund, just be sure to ask for the name of the person you speak to. and take a note of the date.
We managed to get a refund on every minute spent dialling 07744 for this month.

the 07744 number are no longer free from O2 from 1/7/06 (i had a letter warning me). thats it!
http://www.internationalphonecall.net/ list an 0870 number that is counted as free to most of the destinations that were free before from O2.
it looks like the Orange are the only ones to include 07744 now.
they also have a prepay by sms system that uses an 020 london number so this will be inclusive on all contract tarrifs. prices are as cheap or cheaper than calling cards, to the USA, Canada and Hong Kong (all 2p). this number only works from mobiles though.

Hi, i am trying to find out if Orange have stopped the use of 07744 numbers? I have some contracts in place that i can use so i am o.k. but want to be prepared for future changes. I use 0870 and 0415649 from o2 and it always works but they have stopped the use of 0870 on new contracts just recently. If you upgrade with the carphone warehouse, they include 0870. I use 07744 and 973249 from Orange and T-Mobile at the moment and a mate uses it from Virgin o.k. However if anyone can clarify Orange rumour i will appreciate it, Cheers.

Hi, number above still works with o2 contracted prior to 27th April 07 but 07744 no longer free from Orange, T-Mobile, o2, Vodafone or 3. It still works from Virgin but when this stops see my post "07744 no longer free from T-Mobile". This is a cheap solution as used by a friend of mine.
