These calls are not free they come out of your inclusive minutes.Beware if you exceed your minutes they become very expensive then.

Yes you are right, it never went that far. I get 400 mins free with my package.

i also noticed that the 0870 & 0845 numbers on http://www.cheap-phonecall.co.uk/rates.htm are also included on my free mins, not quite as much variety of destinations, but seems a better sevice.

Yes i did wonder, and phoned them.

    o2 confirm that the 0870 794 8597 & 0844 570 8597
on http://www.cheap-phonecall.co.uk/Free_International_Calls_Mobile.htm are part of contact mins, and will be charged 15p outside of contact mins peak and 10p off paek

Vodafone (my work mobile) do not include these numbers in contact mins, but are charge a lot less 7p peak 5p off peak. looks like vodafone is cheaper on lots of destinations.

i heard that the 0844 number is totaly free with some landline providers, i know not BT, if any one knows, i would switch my landline straight away.

In fact, if you have inclusive cross network minutes, you may try numbers such as 077449#####, as they are mobile numbers and included in your package.

    Take a look of http://www.talk4longer.net/free_international_calls.asp

yes, i did have a 07744 number, was far less reliable that the 0870 & 0844, just wouldnt connect some days. i understand, 07744, same as the others, only inclusive on o2 and t-mobile. Vodafone charge 25p a min off peak, never tried peak.
