Code for sony dvp-ns305

Please help. Does anyone know the code to get a sony dvp-ns305 to play region 1 as well as its oroginal region 2?

This works with a Pronto remote, use ProntoEdit for the codes...

- Program individual hex-code (below) into five chosen buttons
- Put your DVD-player to standby mode (main power on and red light above it)
- Push programmed buttons sequentially from one to five (the player
starts up)
- Do it again: Push programmed buttons sequentially from one to five
(the player goes back to standby)
ANOTHER METHOD:
The remote control hack here does work but you have to press each button TWICE. (eg 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5). You will even have to do the method twice in order to get the method to work!
The player should now be multiregion!

The previous hack works but it took some figuring out. Used a sony CLIE and omniremote software.

Any palm pilot will do. Create a new section for the DVD player and create 5 buttons. Train the CLIE to recognise the buttons to be numbers 1 - > 5.

Use the advanced- > databases [export category] to export the data to memopad. Sync you palm and paste the data into memo pad form.

Resync your CLIE or palm and then start omniremote. Use advanced- > databases [import category] and import the updated config.

With the DVD player in standby. Press button 1 - > 5 twice in turn e.g. 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5. If it has worked the DVD player will switch on and show "SUCCESS" on the display. Repeat this again and the DVD player will revert to standby.

Congratulations, you now have a hacked DVD player that can play multiregion disks.
May not work on DVP-NS400D.
For the D900G, use the same code that you have, but instead of the display showing a message the region your player is automatically set to will come up in the top left corner of your screen. This is the point that you press the 9 button. The same code will apply to the D900.

AND HERE IS A VERSION FOR THE One4All:
"I used oneforall kameleon remote to make my ns705 region free. just follow these steps:

prepare:
1. select dvd device on remote
2. hold magic button until rabbit comes out
3. enter device code 0533

program buttons 1..5 with the following codes:
1 - 189
2 - 255
3 - 095
4 - 221
5 - 079

1. hold magic button until rabbit comes out
2. press 994
3. press magic
4. enter 3digit code from above
5. press button (1..5) where to program it
6. repeat steps 1 to 5 for all keys.

have it a go:
1. remove disk, put player on standby
2. press 1,2,3,4,5 - success is displayed and plyer starts up
3. press 1,2,3,4,5 - player shuts down and BINGO!

should work for most of the dvp-ns### players"
