I have a 2000 Civic and want to know if the passenger airbag can be disabled as Honda dealers won't do this. I have a new baby and the car seat doesn't fit on the back seat. Has anyone got any ideas?

Remove both terminals from your car battery. Wait for fifteen minutes, then dissmantle the dash surround and remove the airbag unit. unplug it. Replace the airbag unit and that should do it. (your SRS warning light may constantly be on). If you want to turn it off, find a suitable auto electrician to rewire and bypass the passengers airbag.
