Dansai 852

Hi I wonder if Dansai 852 is similar to another dvdbrand. I mean if there is another dvd player that looks like dansai or has the same components, for example Thomson. Why I ask i because I´ve just gor my Yamaha rxv 650 reciever and there are som manufacturer codes for the remote. Sorry to say ther´s no one for dansai dvdplayers. So this is the reason I ask and hopefully does someone know the answer. Thanks. I hope my question makes sense.
