Hi there. I have suffered a similar problem to you. I have quick thick heavy hair, even once it has been thinned out. The way to get it perfect is to be quick strict with how you section your hair. First of all, position your thumbs at the top of ears, touching the side of your head. The slide them around the back of your head so that they go under your hair, and meet at the back of your head. This should result in a small layer coming down from the base of your head, and the rest of your hair needs to be put into a ponytail and clipping onto the top of your head. Then take your time straightening this section - DO NOT RUSH. Make a mental note of how thick that layer was, and once that layer is straightened, bring down another layer from your ponytail and straighten that layer. This might mean that you do your hair in about 5-7 layers, but it really does give a thinner sleeker result. Plus the results will last for longer!

    Hiya hunbun!

I'm sure it will do - you should be able to get you hair perfect as long as your irons are on high enough a heat - minimum 180oC, but if you can go above 200oC then do!

The main thing is to take your time and to use a comb as you straighten as that naturally straightens the hair before the irons run down it!

Let me know how you get on!
