Nope I do not believe that there should be a takeover (shame its already happened)
Better players? Time will tell, but I doubt it. Gone are the days of spending 30M on the likes of Wayne Rooney I reckon.
I think we will need to be more cunning in the transfer market these days what with having no money. -

The truth of the situation is that the majority of football fans don't care so much about anything that happens off the field providing that success is achieved on the field. The fact that we are playing brilliant football (if you disregard the derby
) at the moment overshadows the complete mess that the club is in both financially and morally to most people. It is only when we start going through a bad spell results wise will people sit up and take notice, but of course this will probably be too late. You only have to look at the situation at Liverpool, problem is the situation at United is about five times worse.

It's going to be very interesting to see how ManYou fill the void left by Ronaldo's move to R.Madrid this season.
I think Ronaldo became a player of such importance to the way Manchester United went about tearing Premiership defences apart that his departure must have some kind of effect. He became a player a truly great player, I think only a fool would suggest otherwise. I appreciate that some people dislike elements of the mannerisms and histrionics that come with a typical Ronaldo performance but it is a credit to Ronaldo himself and the work put in by Ferguson and his coaching staff that Ronaldo became the potent attacking weapon we will now see grace the footballing cathedreal that is the Bernabeu
His progress from a winger with fancy tricks to basically spearheading the Manchester United attack is his Old Trafford testament. You have to remember that Ronaldo has often kept players of the calibre of Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov out of the Manchester United side
or having to adopt a more unfamiliar role in the team.
It will be interesting to see if Wayne Rooney assumes the role of leading the attacking options open to Ferguson, or will the team lose an element of the work that Rooney puts in if he is to play his game "up top". I'm sure every footy fan is interested to see how Michael Owen fits into SAF's plans next season. A fully fit Michael Owen will get goals, I dont think anyone would argue otherwise, for arguably the first time in Michael's career, he wont necessarily play if he is fit, certain gambles have been taken on his fitness in the past for both club and country, I can't see that happening at Old Trafford, so I can see his signing as being a shrewd piece of business.
I think Man United will be involved with Chelsea for the title this year, I don't think Liverpool will push as hard as they did especially in the early part of last season, I can see Liverpool slipping up more this time as they havent added much quality to the squad the still rely to heavily on Torres and Gerrard, their hopes are really pinned on those two players. I think Ancellotti's Chelsea will be well organised and strong, I can't see them dropping as many points as they did in the early part of last season. So for me it's going to be a 2 horsed race for the title with Manchester United just about nicking it.
