I have found Future Life to be a very helpful company and they guarantee to give you the most competitive quote for life cover and mortgage protection. You can contact them on www.future-life.co.uk

I found my cheapest quote from Clubfinance

They don't offer a call centre, just e-mail and postal service, but they rebate so much of their commission (circa 95%) that it's hard to believe there can be anyone cheaper for life insurance. It's also nice to be able to get an online quote, rather than waiting for someone to get back to you.

I found the following company to be extremely good:

    Clubfinance Discount Insurance

A little annoying in the fact you can't talk to anyone over the phone (all e-mail and post only), however, they are fully regulated by the FSA and do seem to be passing on the savings from not having a call centre and being execution only to the customers, the Life insurance was extremely cheap.

Actually not, got some insurance from them, plus changed the agent on my investments to them. (The latter I am however going to change to intelligent money as they charge a flat fee of £35 and my renewal commissions are actually more than £140 - so they will work out better value.)

Reason I was plugging Clubfinance is that for the insurance they sold me they received the princely sum of £4 so felt I owed them a plug when I read your post! (and I think a few pence a month from year 4 onwards)

Didn't quite know how the posting system works, so when the first didn't appear I reposted. Are you in the insurance business by yourself by any chance?

Thought I'd reply to the other thread as well, just because I thought creating a new thread was a bit cheeky!
